DECLARATION OF INTERESTS- Members of the Council are reminded of their responsibility to declare any personal interest in respect of matters contained in this agenda, If the interest arises only as a result of membership of another public body or one to which you have been appointed by the Council then you only need to declare it if you intend to speak.

If the personal interest is a prejudicial interest, you must withdraw from the meeting. Normally you should leave before the business starts to be discussed. You do however have the same right to speak as a member of the public and may remain in the room to enable you to exercise that right and then leave immediately. In either case you must not seek to improperly influence a decision on the matter.

Withnell Local Nature Reserve -work days-volunteers welcome

Volunteers are welcome to join Chorley Council Ranger Service to help manage and maintain Withnell Local Nature Reserve and Railway Park. Both sites are managed primarily for wildlife and follow ecological management plans to direct the work and projects that are carried out. Get involved in activities such as raking the cuttings from the wildflower meadows, painting signage and maintaining fencing and entrances, making benches and bird boxes, thinning trees and planting wildflowers and creating improved pathways.

Meet at Fellstone Vale entrance on the 1st Monday of the Month at 10am – 2pm. Everyone welcome, just come along and join in.
